Graham 'cracks' under pressure

Franklin Graham afraid to stand up to the Chinese government...should he not rather be seeking to "fill Beijing" with the gospel, or does he not believe his own message?

"BEIJING - The Reverend Franklin Graham says he's opposed to missionary work at this summer's Beijing Olympic Games, because it's against Chinese law."

"The son of evangelist Billy Graham made the remarks during a visit to Beijing for meetings with the government-controlled Protestant church."

"And while some Christian groups have said they plan to proselytize during the August games, Franklin Graham said he "would not support any illegal activity at all."

re: Defying men, or denying the Lord...which will it be?
Another shameful example of Laodicean unbelief by a s0-called international Christian leader who has now proven himself to be unworthy of the name 'Christian'. How can anyone deny and be ashamed and offended at the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is essentially what Franklin Graham is doing here, and still lay claim to the name of Christian? If this sort of capitulation to political agendas had happened in the first century, there may have never been a Christian church at all. Thank the Lord that Peter and the other apostles proved true to "his name" in their day, even willing to take a beating before they would deny "the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6):
"And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

"....and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.
(Acts 5: 27-29; 40-41)
Still supporting Franklin Graham's ministries?
Why?
don't be caught up in this raging apostasy...Rev. 18:4
