Iran Bound?

article: Agreement Allows US to Launch Military Attacks from Iraq

Baghdad: A proposed Iraqi-American security agreement will include permanent American bases in the country, and the right for the United States to strike, from within Iraqi territory, any country it considers a threat to its national security, Gulf News has learned.

The military source added, "According to this agreement, the American forces will keep permanent military bases on Iraqi territory, and these will include Al Asad Military base in the Baghdadi area close to the Syrian border, Balad military base in northern Baghdad close to Iran, Habbaniyah base close to the town of Fallujah and the Ali Bin Abi Talib military base in the southern province of Nasiriyah close to the Iranian border."

"Iran has raised serious concerns in the past few days over the Iraqi-American security agreement and followed it with issuing religious fatwas and called for demonstrations, mainly by the powerful Shiite leader Moqtada Al Sadr movement, who is close to Iran, against the agreement."

Permanent occupation in Iraq represents the the achievement of the what has been the real intent all along, the successful global integration of a former non-integrating country. The Tower of Babel just grew a little taller. But...other 'non-integrators' must also be integrated, and the clock is ticking. see: mandatory-global-integration

The global agenda...the beast, is marching on. Be informed.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. (Rev. 19:11,19)

Curious...

Thanks for the comment.

Also, good question, and yes, encouraging words are definitely needed. We all need encouragement. The problem though, is that to encourage those who are either unaware of the present danger or are in error and blind to it, without first making them see the trouble, will not benefit them, but actually do harm. Somebody sleeping on the railroad track needs to be awakened, not given a warm blanket.

There is a fine line though, and I'm not meaning to be harsh with that last statement. The intent here with this blog is simply to put forth enough irrefutable evidence so as to alert people to the "perilousness" of the times.

"Knowing the time" is very important, as very few are aware, and many either do not understand how biblical prophecy is being fulfilled today, or, reject the idea outright. That includes a vast majority of the professing church too.

It is my hope with this little blog that people can see all the 'bad news', and make use of some of the brief and basic prophecy studies that are posted, perhaps shake off the lethargy...if that applies, and realize "..that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed." Rom. 13:11

The reality is that it's not going to 'get better'on this earth, but wax worse and worse (2 Tim. 3:13).

The ONLY HOPE for anyone is the "blessed hope" of the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that message is interspersed (trying to do that) throughout this blog. (see recent study posted on subject by Lewis Sperry Chafer)

Unfortunately, only a few still hold this hope, and consequently those who have rejected it for whatever reason are then left with only the false hope of 'changing the world', or whatever. It is hoped that some may have their eyes opened and come to believe...

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 WHEREFORE COMFORT ONE ANOTHER WITH THESE WORDS. 1 Thes. 4

...what a day of rejoicing that will be...when we all see Jesus, we'll sing and shout the victory!
