Is That A Tsunami Hitting Honolulu On The Cover Of The New 2013-2014 Hawaiiantel Phonebook?

[orginally posted 1/4/13] Tsunami hype has reached record levels recently. Unheard of in times past, tsunami threats and warnings have suddenly become a part of daily life for coastal dwellers anywhere on the planet. It used to be decades, now it is daily. This is definitely a new thing. The linked articles below are just a sample of the type of 'tsunami-expectation' programming now being put out on a regular basis. Hawaii, Australia, the East Coast, all being heavily hyped as being under an imminent threat of major tsunamis. And not only tsunamis, but as the articles from the third link reveal, massive 'storm surges' up to 30 feet or bigger from super-cyclones or hurricanes are now threatening virtually every coastline on the planet...because of "global warming"...we are told:

Landslide-Driven Megatsunamis Threaten Hawaii 12-6-12 "SAN FRANCISCO — It's almost unimaginable: a tsunami more than 1,000 feet (300 meters) high bearing down on the island of Hawaii...But scientists have new evidence of these monster waves, called megatsunamis, doing just that. The findings were presented here yesterday (Dec. 5) at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union...This happens about every 100,000 years, and is linked to climate change, said Gary McMurtry, a professor at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu."

Unstable sea slab near Barrier Reef could cause monster tsunami in north Queensland 12-21-12 "AN ENORMOUS slab of sea floor is in the early stages of collapse off north Queensland [Australia], and could generate a tsunami when it finally breaks off, researchers warn..."It's a pretty big chunk of sea floor (and) is in the very slow, early stages of starting to break away from the edge of the Great Barrier Reef...something like a very large earthquake [could] trigger a catastrophic collapse "

26' Tsunamis On U.S. East Coast, And 'Extreme Cyclones' With 30' "Storm Surges" Across Globe, Says NWO [12-4-12] "...global warming will make future hurricanes more intense...rare monster tropical cyclones (the term for hurricanes, typhoons and other tropical storms) could inundate coastal areas with storm surges greater than 15 feet (4.6 meters), and could even surpass 30 feet (9 m) in some regions of the world...    [11-16-12] Although the risk is small, tsunamis are possible on the East Coast of the United States from a variety of sources, according to new research.

It is because of all this hype that the cover photo on the new 2013-2014 Hawaiiantel Oahu phonebook is so curious. The phonebook was released just this week. That is the shoreline of Honolulu in the background, and explains the title of this post - 'is that a tsunami hitting Honolulu on the cover of the new Hawaiiantel phonebook?' Notice especially the appearance of the waterline rising higher than the shoreline.
