Christians Counter Pagan Prayer to Wiccan ‘Goddess’ Before Iowa Legislature
DES MOINES, Iowa – A number of Christians countered a pagan prayer delivered on Thursday before the Iowa state legislature by a local Wiccan priestess.
“We call this morning to God, goddess, universe—that which is greater than ourselves to be here today,” Deborah Maynard, 43, a Unitarian Universalist and the leader of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans, opened her invocation. “By the earth that is in our bones and centers us, may all here remember our roots and those whom we are here to represent.... Rep. Liz Bennett (D-Cedar Rapids) had extended the invitation to Maynard, and told the Associated Press that she “met with some people on both sides of the aisle just to let them know that the invocation or the prayer Deb will be offering will be very inclusive.”
Rep. Rob Taylor (R-West Des Moines) decided not to leave the room, but to turn away during the moment.

Note that agreement is not being required here, right at this point, just acceptance. Quietly accepting is the same as bowing...Nice little skit though to provide the object lesson - namely bow or git in the new Antichrist world the would-be-as-gods (Gen. 3:5) crowd are trying to pull off. And again, as this little skit makes clear, the Antichrist-ers are taking the wraps off now everywhere. Be acutely aware...because it really is...'in or out?' see: 666
What just happened here anyway? That's easy - just another object lesson, done purposely for that reason alone (and in general just jerking the people of America around every which way but loose), just like what was described in the 'follow up' directly above. Note that Iowa Rep. Rob Taylor, as stated in the last sentence from the [excerpted] posted article, demonstrated the exact response the ZNWO object-lesson was intended to teach - he "decided not to leave the room"...but rather just..."to turn away during the moment". That people, is called quiet acceptance - don't leave, don't object, don't voice disapproval, close your eyes if you must, but just hush up and everything will be fine. That's the clear message anyway - bow to the spirit-of-antichrist with the rest of us.
